Two new tracks off the upcoming Jestures album are now streaming on all platforms.
With the new single “Yearning”, Atmosphere taps into the universal ache for belonging, pairing Slug’s reflective verses with an evocative chorus by Yoni Wolf (of WHY?). Set against a lush sonic palette from producer Ant that weaves melodic piano keys, harp and harmonica though sturdy, measured drums, the song drifts between nostalgia and vulnerability.
Directed by Evidence, the video for "Yearning" sets Slug in the heart of Minneapolis, capturing the city’s grit —a fitting scene that complements the song’s mood.
