"I like the idea of showing the connection between art and sports, specifically when it’s based in Twin Cities pride," Slug says. "I think it's necessary to show these cultures that mix together, from sports to art to music to whatever. I think that all these things are healthy places for youth, specifically—but really, adults too. They're healthy spaces to activate and do something productive with yourself."
